  1. Last weekend was my 50th high school reunion. I had the privilege of providing gifts for various drawings, including a drawing for veterans who attended . I chose this pattern and increased it a little bit in size. It turned out beautifully and every veteran in attendance wanted it. Making and donating this quilt gave me such pleasure that I wanted to share it with you. Each of these Vietnam veterans has a story to tell and deserve to receive our respect and appreciation. So, while it may take me some time and $, I am going to donate a quilt to each of the additonal 9 veterans who attended.

    Unfortunately, the blog doesn’t allow me to “paste” a picture but I would love to show you a picture with the recipient.
