Make Your Missing Fabric

While cleaning my sewing room I ran across an unfinished quilting project I had forgotten for a LONG time {several years!}. After unfolding it, I realized why it was still unfinished: I needed a small piece of matching fabric that was no longer available. Using today’s technology, I placed a piece of the needed fabric on my scanner and scanned the image into my computer printer, then printed it out onto the paper-backed fabric used for memory or photo quilts. Photo fabric pages are rather expensive, but two 8 1/2 x 11 inch pieces were all I needed to finish my quilt.
