Louisiana Pecan Pralines

1 lb. light brown sugar
1 cup whipping cream

Mix together and cook in microwave, high power, 5 minutes. Stir and cook 3-4 minutes on medium power. Remove and add 2 tbsp. butter. Stir until dissolved. Add 2 cups pecan halves and stir about one minute. Spoon out onto waxed paper or foil. If pralines harden before finished spooning, soften in microwave about 30-40 seconds and continue until all has been spooned out.

Fast and easy
Using the micro saves alot of time . I also like to make peanut brittle in the microwave.
