Leftover Batting

Instead of stuffing leftover batting back into the bag it came in, trim the batting into a rectangle, roll it up, and tape with masking tape. Use a marking pen to write its size on the tape. Then, when you make a wallhanging or table runner and need a smaller piece, you will quickly be able to find one the right size. Also, the batting rolled and stacked looks much neater than a pile of plastic bags.
