Beverly says, "I found this in some magazine when I lived in North Dakota, when we moved to South Carolina I took it to the first party we were invited to. Well, now it is enjoyed all the way to Texas!"
Use as many peppers as you want. I usually do 20 which makes 40. Cut them in half and clean (they clean really nice when you us a spoon and run it along the seeds and membrane). Please use gloves when you do this and maybe do it outside if the peppers are really strong! When they are clean, take the cream cheese and fill the pepper halves.
Take the bacon and cut the strips in half. Wrap the bacon around the pepper and cream cheese and use the toothpick to hold all together.
Place on a foil covered cookie sheet and Bake at 375°F for about 25 minutes. You really have to look at these to decide when they are ready as each oven is different. The bacon needs to be done.
