  1. I cut out the pieces for this quilt last night and started sewing today. I did use the Easy Diagonal Set Ruler which worked great. I understand why the pattern had you cut it the way it was. Just beware on the red and white strip material the bias winds up being on the outside of the block. Just handle with care until everything is sewn together.

  2. Very nice pattern! I'm disappointed that the cost of your downloadable pattern is more than the entire magazine cost for the intent of making a donation quilt for a worthy cause. I'm on a fixed income, donating my fabrics and supplies by choice for this worthwhile project, however, the charity in the cost of the pattern seems to be lost here.
