    1. Hi! The fusible material needs to be applied to the back side of the “appliqué” fabric before the shape is cut out. Make sure to trace the shapes onto the paper side of the fusing agent. It can be “bubble cut” before applied – cut outside the lines by ½” or so. Once it is in place and fused to the fabric, cut out the shape, making a clean smooth edge. To get an idea of what you need to do to create fusible “appliqués, take a look at our free Sew Easy video tutorial, “Windowing Fusible Appliqué.” A quick tip: you may want to consider using Heat-n-Bond Light for a more flexible final product.
