I have made it several times, each time a little different. I particularly like the easy way the star goes together. Because I have a long arm quilting machine, I like to leave open spaces in my quilts to showcase my fancy quilting. I left out the small corner stars and used a border print for the border. Another time, I used a narrow border and put the star on point in the center. This time, I am going to use the star and a border print for a newborn great granddaughter's birth quilt. The mother has requested peach & cream. The star will be peach & green with a cream background. The border will have large roses. Thank you, Bonnie Reece

I fell in love with a collection of soft rose and beige prints on sale, especially the main color, a soft blue background piece with subtle burgandy and soft yellow paisley. I added beiges, soft yellows, and soft blues. I can't wait to start on it. I was looking for a pattern with a center star design.
