Easy Slow Cooker Corn Chowder

½ pkg Ore Ida’s Potatoes O’Brien (hash browns with peppers & onions)
½ pkg Frozen Sweet Corn
16 slices pre-cooked bacon
6 T. margarine or butter
1-1/2 cup milk Salt & Pepper to taste

In medium sauce pan, melt butter or margarine. Slowly add flour to make a paste. Simmer paste for about two minutes until warm. Slowly add milk, using whisk to stir, until smooth. Allow to thicken slowly over low heat; do not boil. In the meantime, cook bacon in microwave for 45 seconds. Drain on paper towels and crumble. In crockpot, add sweet corn, crumbled bacon and cream sauce. Stir in potatoes. Cook on low in crockpot for 4-6 hours. Serve with fresh bread and a salad.
