Cutting Chenille Layers

When making a chenille scarf, one quilter had difficulty seeing which 2 layers to cut on the fabric she had used, so she added a 2″ strip of water-soluble stabilizer above and below the middle layer on each end of the scarf. Then, while cutting, she could see the top layers easily and not cut through the middle layer.
