Crock Pot Roast

1 beef roast
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
2 tbsp. beef bouillon granules
6 red potatoes, peeled and quartered
4 carrots (regular, not baby) peeled and cut into 3 inch by 1/2 inch piece

Place roast in crock pot. Cover with envelope of dry onion soup. Cook in crock pot on low for 8 to 10 hours. About 1/2 way through the cooking time, place potatoes and carrots around and on top of roast. Sprinkle the bouillon granules on top of the vegetables

Serve by taking roast and vegetables out of the crock pot. Slice the roast beef and serve with potatoes and carrots -- drizzle "pan" juices over top for an "au jus" like sauce. Easy recipe for a great day of quilting!
