Carolyn Kenney is co-vice president of Quincy Crazy Quilters, a quilting instructor at Feather River College and an Eleanor Burns, Quilt in a Day certified instructor. She is also the featured quilter for the guild’s biennial quilt show, Crazy About Quilts. Crazy About Quilts is May 21-22, 2011 at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy, Calif. Many of the guild’s 65 members will have quilts on display in a number of classes: large bed quilts (double to king-sized); small quilts (twin, lap and crib); miniature (24 inches per side); home décor; wearable art and junior quilts (16 and younger). Quilters from around the country are invited to enter the show as well. Other categories include antique quilts, and for guild members only quilt tops and the annual quilt challenge. The show also includes Hoffman Challenge quilts and dolls, vendors and drawings for themed gift baskets. The show coincides with Plumas County’s inaugural barn quilt tour.
