3 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
12 oz. beer
Mix and pour into greased loaf pan. Pour 3/4 to 1 stick melted butter on top. Bake in 375° F oven for 1 hour. Cool on rack---slice with electric knife (I just use one of the serrated knives). Leftovers are good toasted!
