This show was on the other day in my area and they were making this quilt. You use a hexagon ruler and cut half hexagons (make sure to include the 1/4" seam on the long side). They sell the ruler, but I think others do too, and you can make them different widths. You just keep adding til it's as long as you want and add as many strips as you want for the width.

My first introduction to this site is very negative. It says you can download the pattern but it only gives you a "sample" - for complete instructions you have to order a copy of the Fall 2011 issue - huh???
