String piecing is a fun, free-form style of creating unique quilt blocks with simple strips of irregular widths. It can also be a stash buster and allows you to experiment with different ideas in a totally new way versus just choosing fabrics to pair together in a quilt top. It’s similar to paper piecing quilts, but without stitching on lines. We will share three variations for your piecing enjoyment. After you’re done, we doubt you’ll be able to keep yourself from string piecing everything – it’s so much fun!
