I bought a set of queen size sheets that were packaged in a nice bag with snaps and was made from the same fabric as the sheets. I use it to carry my foot pedal and cord for my sewing machine to my quilt group each week. Good way to recycle!

storing fabric in plastic bags

i thought it wasn't good to store fabric in plastic as it doesn't breathe.

I cut a sleeve from an old rag sweatshirt to just the size I need to carry my foot pedal and cord inside my featherweight sewing machine carry case. It adds padding to protect my machine. And another sleeve to carry my larger items (cutting wheel, etc).

I love those bags to store projects in. The smaller one are great to put all the parts and pieces for a project that you are working on, you can what is in the bag and everything is all together!

If you are am quilter with a wood stove, you canm use bits ofm 100% cotton with your kindling. Cotton burns nicely,but only cotton.
