Milky Way

Quilt by Liz Porter.
Milky Way

Milky Way is a tessellating pattern, which means it is tiled or interlocking. Although you can clearly see stars, there is no actual star block in this quilt. The stars appear only after you join the units together. Trade 2½"-wide and 4½"-wide strips with your friends for more fabric variety. This quilt is Fat Quarter Friendly.

Tessalating Milky Way
I found the grid, but I need a better look at the actual quilt to figure out how to plan the blocks than the one draped across the chair. I taped the TV show ~ do I need to watch that to get the directions? Like Peggy, who posted on July 14, I need the pattern instructions ~ or at least instructions on how to use the grid. Thank you so much. I love the program.
Milky Way quilt
I love this quilt. It will be hard to decide which style to do Liz's or Mary's. Now I need to get the pattern instruction I have the grid. Thank you.
Milky Way Grid
Found my way to the grid. Printed a couple of copies so I can go with different color schemes. I've always liked the look of the Milky Way Quilt. Now I might actually get around to making one. Thank you.
You are welcome
Thanks for letting us know Conni! Enjoy!

Milky Way "grid"
I, also, did not find a "grid" however, Mary's version, "Andromeda" is in the free patterns section. The address is "http://www.fonsandporter.com/content_downloads/Andromeda.pdf"
