Memories in a Square

Memories in a Square

Since my granddaughters were small, they have colored fabric squares with crayons. I back the fabric with freezer paper to stabilize it and so the girls know where the designs should stop. We label each square with the year. When they graduate from high school, I will make each of them a quilt using their blocks.

Memories in a square
What a wonderful idea. Do you have to seal it with something. Would you use fabric paint for the hand prints. So many ideas you could use.

What a wonderful idea, handprints at various ages would be neat also. Thanks Using a printer one could copy school work on fabric backed w/freezer paper as well. Your idea has me brainstorming!
