It’s Easy Being Green

Quilt by Kristine Peterson. Machine quilted by Linda Hungerford
It’s Easy Being Green

The blocks in this quilt are made with a popular technique that has several names. It's been called Disappearing Nine Patch by Nancy Brenan Daniel, Magic Nine Patch by Karin Hellaby, and Tossed Nine Patch by Eleanor Burns. Kris' quilt was inspired by Julie Larsen from Prairie Star Quilts in Elk Horn, Iowa, who calls it Zig Zag Slash. You can have fun with this technique. We made two identical Nine Patch Units, cut them into sections, then arranged the sections to make two completely different blocks. This quilt is Fat Quarter Friendly.

Size: 60" × 72"
