Handy Fabric Kits

I like to keep my fabric and kits in paper bags rather than the plastic ones that stores use. You can buy these inexpensive bags at hobby stores. I type a label to attach to the bag including name of kit, contents of bag, and anything I need to purchase to complete the project. They line up neatly on the shelf in my fabric closet.

sewing box
I found a cute jewelry box at goodwill fabric covered, to cute to pass up... I finally came up with the idea of a sewing box to set beside your chair or machine. Filld the bottom with the spools and the top with bobbin cases, needles or whatever you personal needs are... Then I bought another and another

I dont like plastic bags. I sew some fabric pouch that maintain cleaner its contents .
Wow! That's organization. This I must try.
storage idea
I, too, do the same thing it's more "green" than using plastic bags, plus keeps a unified look to my closet
