Emily’s Wedding Quilt

Pieced from as many reproduction prints she could gather at a fabric exchange, Liz Porter’s quilt features a masterful combination of the 54-40 or Fight quilt block and the Shoo Fly quilt block. Why not organize your own fabric exchange and give this approach a try?

  1. I watched the show on PBS this morning and it was this quilt. Love it. I just happen to have a stack of 1930's Fat quarters that have been waiting to go into a quilt. 7 page pattern printed out with no problem. Thank you

  2. I just watched this episode and found my inspiration for all my Halloween material. I believe I will substitute black or purple for the white. As you may have guessed I have collected a LOT of Halloween fabrics. With a name like Charlotte, how could I knot.

  3. I have been thinking about this quilt for 2 years. I have some UFOs I promised myself I’d finish this year first before I started ANYTHING else, but, I just watched the episode about this quilt on PBS again, and I’m really itching to start this quilt now. I have a whole plastic tub of 30’s material and a grandson who will more than likely get married in the next year. So I HAVE TO make this quilt now!!! LOL!!!!
