Fleece is a thread magnet. To keep threads from migrating throughout the house, wear fleece when sewing. You are a mess but the floor is clean!

Corralling threads
I know about fleece, because I have a couple of fleece outfits which look like I have been shedding when I am finished quilting. What about making a fleece apron, then you can just shake it outside.
