6th Davis Street Quilt Show 2012

Date and location: September 24 – 29, 2012
Main Street District, Luling, Texas (MAP)

Description: Luling Main Street is dedicated to historic preservation and what better way than through quilts. This is the 6th show we have put on. It is open to the public and anyone is eligible to submit their quilts. In years past we have had civil war era quilts and other very interesting quilts. Modern quilts are welcome too. This years theme is “Our Heritage: Black Gold, Texas Tea” to celebrate the discovery of oil in our town 90 years ago and to recognize that part of our history. Quilts are displayed in local businesses throughout downtown. See www.lulingmainstreet.com for more info.
